Our Meal Plan 8.8 to 8.14.12

CRAZY week!!  BUT as far as meal planning goes it's an easy week!

I get so excited when there are a bunch of "free spaces!"  You know, like Bingo- it's an easy cross off!

We have family in town this week so we haven't been home much (-:

Here is the rundown for the week



Event Dinner (my husband got us VIP tickets to a sponsor's tent)
Dinner at my Parent's house
Family Reunion Day
Playdate Tuesday with B & A2

that left me with JUST 3 DAYS TO PLAN!  Wooohoo!

Chicken packets (because boy do we still have a weeks worth of veggies from our CSA to use)
Turkey Burgers, Corn on the Cob, Green Beans
Fish and whatever other veggies are left

Our Meals August 1-7

Seriously, August?!?!  How in the heck did August happen?  Sheesh!  TIME!!!  SLOW DOWN!

I feel like we are just getting into the groove of summer!  We have family coming into town next week!  Were looking very forward to it!

Anyhow, here is what is on our menu plan this week!

Eggplant Lasagna
Chicken Salads
A Protein (fish or chicken), Cauliflower Mash & Veggies
Parent's House
Out!!!  --family day away from home (-:
BYO Taco Bar (we postponed our play date to next week so this will be this week now :-)

STUFFED NIGHT!

So I am sitting here working on the menu plan and thinking... what do I do with these mushrooms, squash and peppers?  It dawned on me... a stuffed night!  I am stuffing each with our favorite!  Anyhow, I am majorly excited about this!  hehe  Should be FUN!!

I only had to plan 6 meals this week as we ate out the first night (-:

Pesto pasta & salad
Tilapia, mustard greens, carrots & cauliflower mashed "potatoes"
BYO (Build Your Own) Taco bar
BBQ Chicken & Veggies
Stuffed Peppers
Parents House

Guess I really only had to plan 5 (-;

We are eating at my parents house tonight and are having a smoked chicken!

I feel like I haven't cooked in weeks! Of course I have been but it just hasn't been normal! The warm summer months surely change up the "norm"

Plus we don't have AC so heating up the house sounds dreadful most days. With that said we mostly have grill meals next week!
